Piling Engineering Support from Design to Site
Pile design, BCA submission, installation supervision and testing coordination for Singapore building and infrastructure projects.
Led by Er. Zheng Zhijian (David Zheng), Professional Engineer (Civil) and Qualified Piling Professional (QPP-0042).
One coordinated piling engineering service
From pile design and BCA submission through installation supervision and testing coordination, piling.sg keeps one engineering thread running through the foundation stage of your project.
Piling projects involve several parties: the design engineer, the piling contractor, the testing provider and, on some projects, specialist geotechnical professionals. When information passes between them without a clear owner, design assumptions get lost and site queries take longer to close. We coordinate the engineering side so that the design, the submission, the site records and the test results stay consistent.
We are an engineering-led service, not a piling contractor. We do not own piling rigs or testing equipment. Piles are installed by your appointed piling contractor and tests are carried out by the appointed testing provider; we work alongside them within a written scope.
| Activity | Typically carried out by |

Project types we support
From single landed plots to industrial and infrastructure foundations. View all applications.
Landed houses and rebuilds
Reconstruction, new erection and addition and alteration works on landed plots, often with tight access and close neighbours.
Addition and alteration (A&A)
New foundations for extensions, added storeys or heavier loads, including micropiles where headroom and access are limited.
Small redevelopments
Low- and mid-rise residential, commercial and mixed-use redevelopments that need a coordinated foundation package.
Industrial buildings
Factories, warehouses, ramp-up and heavy-floor buildings where column loads and settlement limits drive the pile layout.
Infrastructure and civil works
Foundations for civil structures, subject to the project scope and the roles required by the relevant authorities.
Constrained and sensitive sites
Sites near existing buildings, rail structures, drains or sewers, where pile type, installation method and monitoring need extra care.

Common questions
Is piling.sg a piling contractor?
No. piling.sg provides engineering services: pile design, BCA submission, installation supervision and testing coordination. Piles are installed by the piling contractor appointed for your project, and load and integrity tests are carried out by the appointed testing provider. We coordinate with them within our written scope.
What information do you need to start?
The site address, the site investigation (soil) report if one exists, architectural or structural layouts, expected column or wall loads, details of neighbouring buildings and services, and your target programme. If there is no site investigation yet, we can advise on what is needed and coordinate with a site investigation contractor or geotechnical consultant.
Can you guarantee BCA approval or an approval date?
No. Approval is decided by BCA after its own review, and the time taken depends on the project, the completeness of the submission and any comments raised. We prepare and coordinate the submission and respond to BCA comments within our agreed scope.
Do you carry out pile load tests yourselves?
No. Tests such as static load tests, high-strain dynamic tests and integrity tests are carried out by competent testing providers appointed for the project. We help define the testing programme, coordinate the providers and review the test records and reports within our scope.
Discuss your piling project
Send us the site details, design stage and any site investigation report. We will confirm what is needed and propose a written scope.
